Anmor is a family business where traditional Christian values are upheld and we strive to imitate Christ in all we do. Mornay and Ansie have a passion and a love for people which is strongly evident in their dealings with bereaved families.
What we do
We assist families in time of grief when a loved one passes away. We do the initial removal of the deceased, All administration (registration of death etc.), arrangements for the burial or cremation, the memorial service, flowers, catering and all other duties related to the funerals/cremation. In other words: We do everything! You have time to get to terms with the loss and concentrate on other family responsibilities.

The morbid, clinical approach to arranging a funeral or cremation service is outdated. If the family wishes to do the arrangements in the comfort of their home, we are more than willing to visit them and plan the service there, according to their requirements.
At Anmor Funerals we are normal people with a passion and a calling to assist bereaved families in their time of need. We will cry together, laugh together and also remember together. Making sure you celebrate a life once lived!

Therefore we place a strong emphasis on personalising the ceremonies. From the funeral bulletin, the flowers and all other aspects, we believe in remembering your loved one. What do I do when a death occurs?
If a death occurs outside of the hospital you need to call us on 084 703 2838 or 084 036 1251. From there we will take over all arrangements. If need be, we will also arrange for a medic to do a declaration.
If a death occurs inside a hospital, please arrange with the staff to call us or you can call us on 084 703 2838 or 084 036 1251. From there we will also take over all arrangements.
In cases where patients are terminal, we can meet with you beforehand to have everything in place before the time.
If a death occurs due to an accident or any other unnatural cause, the body needs to go to the state mortuary for a post-mortem to be conducted. Thereafter a relative or friend of the deceased will have to identify him/her at the state mortuary. When this occurs you are also welcome to contact us on 084 703 2838 or 084 036 1251. We will accompany them to the state mortuary and support them and take over the arrangements from there.
How much will it all cost?
We have no standard cost for a funeral / cremation. It all depends on your requirements and also the circumstances of the family. Please contact us to discuss the options available.
We accept funeral policies from the following companies: Assupol, AVBOB, Metropolitan, Doves, Clientele and Hollard (PEP Funeral policies). If you are unsure, please contact us for assistance in this regard. We also assist families when claiming from these companies.
Do you offer Funeral Insurance?
Yes we do. We have various options available depending on yoir requirements. Our funeral insurance is underwritten by Old Mutual and the scheme is administered by Executive Underwriting Managers. Please see our insurance page for more information.
